For over 60 years now the Sportsmen’s Club of Clifton Park is very proud of its excellent Safety record. Our self policing safety program requires every visitor and member to contribute to the overall safe operation of our facility

Please note that the summary of By-Laws posted here on the web is not in any way meant to be all-inclusive. Amendments can/will be made and Common Sense should always apply to conduct on the ranges. 

IMPORTANT (pLEASE READ BELOW)

Each Range chairman is supported by a Range Safety Coordinator. Safety issues are communicated through the Club officers and Board of Directors by the Club Safety Officer. Safety issues are acted on immediately to insure a safe environment for all members and visitors. Each Range has its own individual set of Range rules. 

Listed below are some selected items included in our Safety Plan: 

Computer controlled security gate system

High security combination locks on all range buildings

Prohibition of any alcohol from being sold on club grounds

All hunting banned from club grounds

Zero tolerance unsafe gun handling policy

No guns or ammo stored on club grounds

No reloads sold on club grounds

All ranges are safety certified and approved

Regular Safety surveys are conducted
