New Member Applications

Postby hsoectkoeny » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:18 am

Hello,

My name is PJ Stone. I am interested in joining your sportsman's club. I was a member of the Nassau Sportsmen's Club when I lived in Rensselaer. I am now a resident of the Town of Clifton Park so I hate driving 20 plus miles to do some target shooting. I am going to send in my application but there is a space provided for someone to sponsor me, should I just send this in blank and come to a meeting to meet someone to sponsor me? Thanks for any information.

Hey PJ. If you don't know anyone already in the club, your best bet would be to just come to a club meeting and personally drop off your application. It will give you a chance to introduce yourself to the gang and you'll also get an idea of what's going on in the club and have a chance to ask any questions you may have.

I believe we meet on the second Thursday of each month so the next meeting is on October 8th at 7pm. You can find more info about becoming a member here: http://www.sportsmensclubofcliftonpark. ... rship.html

Hope this helps.

Since we passed the 1,000 member limit on October 8 last week, and have over 1,100 members now, does that mean we are not accepting any new member applications?

I know in the last newsletter, they mentioned something about the possibility of placing a cap on memberships, but I am not certain if it was actually implemented or not.

Is there a waiting list for new applicants to sign up for membership?

Yes, submit an application to Tom Herzog. He maintains the list, first come, first served. No fee until accepted.
After dues payment deadline, there may be available slots.
