ARCHERY
Our Club’s archery facilities are second to none in the capital region. The indoor range has 14 lanes at 20 yards. The outdoor range has shots from 10 to 80 yards for targets and field archery. Two platforms are great for tree stand practice. There is also target butts/practice range from 10 to 50 yards along side the archery building on one side and a two lane broadhead range on the other side.

- We are a member of The Northeast Bow Hunters Association which sponsors several 3D shoots each year. We host 3 to 4 shoots at our club of which all the proceeds are donated to charity.
- We are also a member of the Lost Arrow Travel League with shoots every Wednesday for 16 weeks in the summer. For winter enjoyment we offer indoor league shooting with start times on Sunday afternoon and both Monday and Wednesday nights.

2011 3d benefit breast cancer shoot
On Sunday June 12th The Sportsmen's Club of Clifton Park hosted a 3D
Archery Tournament to raise Money for Breast Cancer. There were about
180 very generous shooters. We raised a total of $5052.00 for The
American Cancer Society to keep making strides against Breast Cancer.
This was an amazing year. We raised $1640.00 in Registration fees and
miscellaneous donations. We sold $2989.00 in Raffle Tickets and we
raised $423.00 in the Kitchen.
The following people were instrumental in this major accomplishment;
Tim Passer for gathering most of the Donated Items. Target Set up
and Pick Up Crew: Tom Spagnola, Chris Clingerman, Tim Hayner, Rick
Cornell, Dave MacDonald, Brendan Manny and Joe Martin. Kitchen Staff:
Dick Buehler, David Friedman, John Holmes and Greg Rayno. Raffle and
T-Shirt Sales: Jackie Hayner, Andrew Babbage, Dana Lewis and Pat Joyce.
Shooter Registrations: Jeff Stevens and Tom Herzog. And last but not
least Connie Hayner.
This event would not have been as successful as it was without all the
help we had, help from Club members (both Archers and non Archers) as
well as many non Club members. I would also like to thank everyone for
all the Donations from all the great people and businesses that are too
numerous to mention in this letter.
Thank You All,
Tim Hayner
