New Membership Process Effective August 1st 2009
Fill out and print an application or stop by the club at our monthly membership meeting and pick up an application. Membership meetings are the second Thursday of every month at 7 PM (except for July). We do not accept or process new applications the night of the meetings.
You can mail your application to the Sportsmen’s Club of Clifton Park, 644 Englemore Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065 and you will be put on our waiting list. Please DO NOT send a payment with your application. There is a $100 fee to join the club and dues are $75 per year due every January and prorated throughout the year. The prorated schedule is listed for your information below. Your application must be signed by a sponsor to vouch for your good character (sponsor is a current member in good standing and a member for a minimum of 3 years). If you do not have a sponsor we will assign a Director or Officer to interview you and assuming that goes well, that person will sign as your sponsor and vouch for you personally.
Once we receive your application and fees you must attend a membership orientation and tour to become familiar with the Club organization, range rules and general information. Your sponsor must attend this session with you. The new membership sessions are the first Thursday of every month at 6 PM (except July). Applications and fees will be accepted by mail or at any new membership session.
Once the above process is completed the membership will vote on your application at the next membership meeting. Following that you will receive in the mail, notification of your new membership along with a gate security card and appropriate door combinations.
You may then enjoy the facilities, participate in events and the different leagues. If you are not voted into the club, your money will be refunded promptly.
